Tah-bu-Formerly Jimmy's Bronx Cafe and Sofa Lounge, Tah-bu encompasses a bar, restaurant, sports club, and nightclub in the Boogie Down Bronx. The vibrant atmosphere, known for its various and eclectic musical guests, keeps its patrons coming back, again and again. This venue is always up for a party and hosts an event for almost every holiday imaginable. PEOPLE SOFA LOUNGE/XBAR was really ghetto, but so what. How many other clubs/lounges are as well.

The renaming and remodeled Sofa Lounge now known as Tah-Bu means new promoters, new crowd & new staff. I met all the new promoters from Midtown Manhattan that are coming onboard at Tah-Bu on Saturdays..

Its no longer 18+ .. its now 21+ ..

you really have to be a loser to go to this s#*! hole I went as a vip guest and stayed for 20 minutes. It full of cheap ass hoes bumming drinks and punk ass wanna be gansters. If you are looking to get mugged, raped or AIDS this is the place to be other wise respect yourself and aviod this place like a house on fire.

take it from someone that knows about the club scene ... do yourself and whom ever yu had in mind to go with ...DONT!!...
-located in a extremely ghetto area
-the girls look like their about 15-16 and dress like thier ready to go to the mall
-the bouncers think that they rule because they have minor athority
-the entire get free before 12 thing is a joke ... they will have the doors open and let a coupel of people go in ... SLOWLY ... maybe 25 people will get in free ...hold up the line untill its 12 .. so now its time to pay ... smh ...
-fights will happen the mijority of the time ...
-its a hott box(it gets crowded to the point that theres no f*cking air and yur their sweating)
-men have minor respect
over all ... dont do the same mistake i did ... highly advised

Waste of time

Dont waste your time or money going to Sofa Lounge. The staff is very rude. Dress code is not enforced, the place is just too ghetto.
