This weekend we checked out a smashing preview of the new Off-Broadway musical Celia starring Xiomara Laugart Sánchez at the New World Stages in New York City.

The amazing show celebrates the life of Celia Cruz through the narration of her late husband Pedro Knight played by Modesto Lacén.

Celia resonates with emotion, soul and, most importantly, Sanchez’ voice which carries a deep similarity to that of Celia Cruz.

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her hubby’s birthday by throwing him a surprise party aboard a yacht.

The New York Post reports: IT isn't easy throwing a surprise party where the guest of honor is really surprised. But Jennifer Lopez pulled it off Sunday night when she took her husband Marc Anthony to a birthday dinner at the Water Club. As they finished eating, a sleek yacht pulled up in front of the East River eatery full of his friends singing "Happy Birthday, Marc!" A stunned Anthony looked at them through the window. The yacht then picked the couple up at the dock, and the party continued afloat.

Will Jackie Guerrido, aka that weather chick, stand by her man? We’re sure Don Omar is praying she will after he spent seven hours detained in Santa Cruz de Bolivia on fraud charges.

Supposedly Don Omar was scheduled to perform there for a $70,000 fee, which he bailed on though took the money regardless. Yeah that’s what we call sexy.

Oscar de la Hoya is on fire. The latest pictures to surface on the internet feature a lovely chica, not his wife, in very provocative poses.

Regardless if they are fake or not, the pictures of boxer Oscar de la Hoya in drag are hilarious!

The New York Post reports that a former Scores West stripper did a bit of role playing with him.

Oscar’s rep says “Our position is that they are doctored pictures. We have our lawyers looking into this and we have no further comment.”
