A Bit of Mexi-palooza
Two of the coolest Mexican acts, veteranos and new-school, represented at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Sunday.
With the cancelation of Kinky (we don’t know why as of yet) the up-and-coming duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela performed an arousing set during what seemed like the height of the heat.
In true rockero attire, the acoustic duo sported blue jeans and black tops. Rodrigo was looking exceptionally hot with a shorter hair style. Gaby went more for the chola look, with the half up/half down hair and hoop earrings.
Rodrigo cooled off with a beer on hand, which he also used to play slide-guitar, and Gaby suggested we “dance naked.” Orale pues.
They played to a diverse crowd and the intensity between the two was obvious as Rodrigo pierced his eyes at Gaby while she rocked out. That makes us wonder, are the two getting it on? We’d like to believe so.
Fresh off their packed performance set in Manhattan’s Central Park, Café Tacuba sadly played to a smaller crowd in Grant Park at the same stage as Gaby y Rordrigo did earlier.
Regardless of the size, the hombres performed for a super dedicated crowd who didn’t care about the headliners.
