Daddy Yankee has canceled his performance tomorrow in New York and his appearance on the MTVtr3s float at the Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday.

Thalia graces the cover of ¡Hola! Magazine with her new bundle of joy.

Thalia hinted earlier this year about her hopes in being a mother, which makes us think that she was already pregnant at the time.

Dayanara Torres has now repsonded in regards to her new assistant Tiana Rios, who we mentioned before used to be Jennifer Lopez' assistant.

“As a working professional in the Entertainment Industry I hired Tiana as my assistant because she is responsible, professional and attentive. Tiana has been working with me in a professional capacity for over one year. I have found her to be trustworthy, reliable and helpful. In addition to a fantastic working relationship we have become close friends. It is important to me as a working mother to have someone who adores my children. Both my family and I adore Tiana very much!”

Que bien..they seem like they're going to be one big giant happy family.

First Jennifer Lopez marries Dayanara Torres’ ex, Mr. Marc Anthony, well now Dayanara is taking Jennifer’s assistant.

Word on the street is Tiana Rios, Jennifer’s former assistant, got a new job with Dayanara and we're sure she's making bank.

People only change jobs for better paying ones. So does that mean Jlo and Dayanara are even?

Puerto Rican singer Noelia is getting some MAJOR attention and funny enough, it’s not about her music.

A sex tape featuring Noelia and her ex-boyfriend is all over the internet. Poor chica. No one wants their business out there for the world to see, but celebs should know by now, if you make a sex tape, it’s going to get out!

So after the backlash from her comments made last week Jessica Alba says:

“It was all gossip. If there is something that I’ve never been ashamed of, it is my Latin roots. I was raised under Latin influences. At home, my grandfather plays the guitar and my grandmother sings and dances, I couldn’t deny my roots because the first one to kill me would me my grandmother.”

Ay si...look who all of sudden is Mexicana. And are Latin people the only race who sing and dance? This girl too much!

It’s totally acceptable that Jessica Alba is being completely honest about her Latin roots, or lack thereof, in a new interview with Para Todos Magazine.

The issue is not that she considers herself less Latina than Cameron Diaz, nor that she was raised to deny her heritage in order to fit in.

(BTW she grew up in Pomona, California where the majority population is Mexican American).

The real issue is she seems to be content that the only ties she has with the Latin race is her last name.

“My whole life, when I was growing up, not one race has ever accepted me, ... So I never felt connected or attached to any race specifically. I had a very American upbringing, I feel American, and I don't speak Spanish. So, to say that I'm a Latin actress, OK, but it's not fitting; it would be insincere.”

If she likes feeling “American,” which means not tied to “any race specifically” then we feel really sorry for her.

It’s pretty fitting that Jessica was so candid about not wanting to be pigeonholed as a Latina in a Latin magazine. The onslaught has already begun.

Even though Thalia’s baby isn’t even close to being born, it’s rumored she wants Gloria and Emilio Estefan to be the godparents.

However, reps for los Estefan’s say they haven’t received a call from Tommy Mottola or Thalia.

Lets not be tacky people…ask the padrino-hopefuls first!

Ok…ok Shakira has been seen socializing more than usual, especially in Los Angeles. She’s been out with her new BFF Penelope Cruz, going to John Mayer concerts and now el rumor is that she’s dating hottie Colin Farrell.

Pues here comes Shakira’s fire squad to clean up the mess:

“Shakira and Antonio de la Rua are very much a couple and continue to be engaged,as they have been since 200l. Any rumors to the contrary are false and complete fabrications.”

Friends of Christina are saying she is three months pregnant. Just this week Christina was in talks of making her big screen debut. Hopefully moviemakers will write-in a pregnancy role just for her.
