The Green Turtle - The Ocean City home base of the Maryland fraternity franchise bar, The Green Turtle has been a tradition for beach bums for over three decades. The mood is relaxed, the crowd is friendly, and there is a serious laidback feel to the place. This crowd, while generally younger, is a bit earthier then hip, more of the granola and artsy crowd. If the pseudo flash or overwhelming cheese of the rest of the OC environment is not your cup of tea, then this is the place for you. Laidback, but the vacation resort atmosphere, and some great live music, keeps the place from being too staid.
