Rise Bar - Located on the fourteenth floor of the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park, this award-winning and aptly named bar boasts one of the most dramatic locations in the city. Whether you're inside or out on the terrace, you'll enjoy great views of the New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, the sunset, and, um, Jersey. Almost as exciting are the menu offerings, including fancy cocktails and tiers of fingerfood. If you're the souvenir type, the Libertini will serve you much better than that Statue of Liberty snowglobe. Order a couple and settle in with Chef Jacques Sorci’s creations like lamb, chicken, and salmon satays, mini burgers, mini pastrami sandwiches, and a seafood platter. The modern design and elegant but comfortable atmosphere appeal to Wall Streeters and tourists alike. As does the chocolate fondue.
