Trinity Place - The ambience at Trinity Place is high drama – you can almost envision J.P. Morgan rolling through the mind blowing vault doors while strutting up to the oversized bar and ordering a cocktail. The shredded money (yes, you red that correctly) combined with dark paneling, tin ceiling, and expansive mirrors make you feel moneyed. The DJ spins top-pop tunes, and the upscale dining is desperately needed in this desolate neighborhood. Here’s the major faux-pas, it’s the right atmosphere in the wrong part of town. Trinity is a rich-kitsch lounge that begs to be in Soho – the space is massive, and albeit beautiful, but the World Financial financiers have a one track mind to commute to Short Hills, not hang out in the city.
