Ampersand, New Orleans

Ampersands is a great venue for the late night club goer. The ultra sleek decorum can easily cause you to forget that you are in a New Orleans club(since most of them normally consist of a plethora posters adorning the walls and stating either a 3 for 1 or 2 for 1 special.) The music selection is great offering the latest in house and progressive sounds. Though I can not tell you anything referring to pharmaceutical availabilities, Im sure just like every other club; it exists. This is a club that I recommend to any and all people native or tourist alike, to visit if they are not looking to spend the night out on an overly populated street filled with people in cheaply printed t-shirts endorsing what ever company they won it from doing some idiotic trick in a stage contest, which, 90% of the time is later accompanied by the glistening remnants of whatever drink they couldn't manage to keep in there mouth.

I just went to Ampersand for the first time this past Saturday, which its now October 2008, and I really enjoyed it there. I had a great time. In regards to the last review by "ian", I just wanted to give you some advice...NEVER EVER BUY ANY KIND OF DRUG AT A CLUB! EVERYONE KNOWS THEYRE ALWAYS FAKE! AND IM SURE YOU HAD TO PA AN ARM AND A LEG TOO, RIGHT? I feel your pain though, I did the same thing at Ultra Music Festival in Miami ((CHECK IT OUT ON YOUTUBE! U GOTTA GO THERE IF YOU LIKE THIS CLUB!!)) BC I WAS ALREADY HIGH ON ECSTACY AND WANTED MORE, SO IM SURE THAT IF YOUR A BEAN HEAD LIKE MYSELF, SOMETIMES YOU MIGHT PAY A LITTLE EXTRA. WELL, I WAS ONLY 17 AT THE TIME, SO WASNT AS SMART ABOUT SHYT AT THE TIME LOL, BUT I ENDED UP BUYING A WHITE PILL THAT HAD A BUTTERFLY ON IT. SOUND FAMILIAR? I BELIEVE IT WAS LUNESTA, WHAT IS USED AS A SLEEPING AID, BUT MY BF SAID IT WAS SOME TYPE OF ESRTOGEN PILL. WEL I DONT MEAN TO BUST UR BALLS OR ANYTHING, BUT I JSUT ADVISE THAT U DONT BUY ANYHTING ELSE FROM ANY TYPE OF CLUB, BC U WILL EITHER 1. ITS FAKE, 2. REALLY EXPENSE, OR 3. REALLY EXPENSIVE AND FAKE!! BUT, My on question that I have for anyone who might know,and actually took the time to read this, does Club Ampersand havea myspace page? I tried searching for it, but have had no luck. do not buy any beans in the club the ones they are selling is Atropine sold as ecstasy u can not fuction worth a crab stay away they flat skinny and alien face on them, bad for you
