Barna (at the Hotel Giraffe) - There are many things about Barna that are widely agreed upon: the décor is very nice, the crowd is upscale (read: European tourists from the hotel upstairs), the rooftop bar is exquisite, the service is at least reasonable, and the food and drinks are rather expensive for what they are. Otherwise, Barna is uneven. In the evening you’ll find it packed at midnight, but you may find it empty at eight. There are common complaints about the menu amidst the buzz, so skip dinner. The late-night dance club scene seems to be your best bet for a good time – intense DJ parties are frequent in the downstairs restaurant space. And if lounging is your thing, there’s a sweet roof deck waiting for you.
