Darryl Strawberry is a New York baseball legend and one of the most beloved athletes in NY sports history. During his 11 years with both the Mets and Yankees, he played an integral part in their winning 4 World Series Championships. Darryl's famous batting style brought excitement to every one of his at bats. New York fans were so thrilled by Darryl's towering homeruns that the stadium would roar with his famous curtain call "D-A-R-R-Y-L...D-A-R-R-Y-L... D-A-R-R-Y-L..." Darryl had a glorious baseball career and is being inducted to the NY Mets Hall Of Fame. Darryl’s next challenge is off the field and in the kitchen. He is combining his passions for great food and sports, and bringing them to Queens. Strawberry’s Sport Grill features a menu of high quality yet casual fare, including an extensive burger menu, mouth-watering steaks, house-smoked BBQ, fresh-colorful salads, and firey chicken wings.
