Great Spot, Horrible personnel
I visited Play last night and had a ball. My party and I, which consisted of Blacks, Whites and Hispanics, didn't encounter any racism at this location. We were treated with respect and courtesy. At the location, every thing is run well. However, my sister in law filled out Play's "Plan a Party" form a week and a half prior to the night we wanted to visit and never received a call back. She called later that week and was told a party planner would contact her. She's still waiting for that call. I called the same week and was told we would be unable to make reservations due to their being a fight that night. MONEY over clientele I guess. Nonetheless, the place was very cool, nice crowd and the staff was pleasant and very courteous. I will definitely revisit Play.

sick celebration
I live in leffrak and Play is only 10 minutes door to door. I celebrated my 28th Birthday last Saturday at Play. Myself and 6 friends chilled and had a wild time. I will definitely be partying at this spot again!!

Can't believe racism still exist
I'm a black lesbian who decided to celebrate my girlfreinds birthday at the Play Lounge thought it would be a great experience since i have been there once before and really enjoyed myself. We invite a couple of friends, but to my surprise every girl that was turned away looked like the typical aggresive female even one that have been there several times before, they were given all types of excuses of why they were not allowed to enter the club from the type of shirt they had to their belt buckle(are you serious). The manage even lied and said that one of the girls that was allowed to come in cursed him out and was asked to leave which was a lie. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life, what made it worse was the black bouncers was discriminating on their own. This has to stop. Please know that we are not stopping here were a reporting them to anyone that will listen, we are not bitter we know there are still ignorant people out thier and to waste my energy on them is not what I am about to do, but I am going to make sure this never happens to anyone again.

Good but not for me
This place is good if you just turned 21 and you just wanna get drunk with your old HS buddies. A little too urban for me. Theres no way youre getting in on a dress code night with a pair of Jordans on .

Play is the Best Place to Hang
I just love Play.... What a great atmosphere and the staff are very professional and friendly... I go there all the time and just love it,.... And regarding the racism i find that to be very untrue and very rude thing to say.. Maybe they know why not to let certain people in its because of their attitude and apparel....
