Mayan, The - Formerly a theater venue, the Mayan still has very showy aspects about it, particularly on salsa music nights, when LA's finest Latin dancers twirl and shimmy in killer heels and flirty skirts. There are three areas--the large main floor, plus a basement room and one up top. All three of them have space for dancing, and usually, they all offer different genres of music.

WE LOVED IT!

This is one fantastic place! Great vibe, gorgeous people, we travel all over, and this had to be one of the best places I have ever seen! Elegant and crazy at the same time! The mojito is the best I have had outside of Cuba!
