One of Chicago's best choices for craft beer lovers, the Clark Street Ale House offers over 95 beers, including 25 seasonally rotating choices on tap from behind its beautiful mahogany bar. The beer garden in the back is a choice summer lounging spot, and if you're not into the sudsy stuff, there's over 20 scotches, cognacs and a variety of martinis available as well.

Some complain about the volume of the jukebox and the smoky cigar atmosphere (despite the presence of an enormous air filter), but plug your nose and ears if you have to, because the beverages are more than worth it.
