Postcrypt Coffeehouse - There is no minimum age or dress code.The crowd consists of a mixture of left-over 60's radicals, currentColumbia students (graduate and undergraduate), New Jersey folkophiles andother lovers of acoustic music.The music is folk and acoustic music, emphasizing up-and-comingsinger-songwriters.We have music on Friday and Saturday nights during the school year. Thereare three acts per night at nine, 10 and 11 o'clock. Doors open at 8:30.There is never a cover charge, and popcorn is always free and well-salted.Beer, soda and fine brownies are available at the bar. We pass the hat for performers.The venue is completely acoustic; there's not a single microphone or speaker in the place. And its candlelit, too.
