Moka Nightclub & Lounge, Jamaica

I arrived at the club at 1AM to a weird looking crowd. The guys were hideous and some downright homeless-looking. The venue was decent in size, I suppose. The music was cool. Reggae, Reggae and more Reggae.. Can't beat that right?! The bar looked my bar at home. They had nothing. Everytime we asked for something they didn't have an ingredient. This is after I waited 30 minutes to get attention because the bartenders move like they didnt want any money. The two bartenders would take 10 minutes on one customer's drink and wouldnt even acknowledge any of the other 30 ppl waving their money in the air for attention. The female bartender couldn't seem to grasp how to function the cash register. She was lost and spent more time trying to figure out change than she did serving the customers. Then there was another female bartender chillin near the bottles of liquor eating something and watching as people grew frustrated with the sluggish service as if not concerned that they are losing money. WOW! Bartenders that aren't interested in their tips. Interesting! The highlight of the evening was getting to escape to a nice patio to chat (because of the boredom that I was brought to inside) and leaving not too long after that. I can't complain though the club was free! lol
