Bardot might be a part of Avalon Club; still its existence is not so obvious. A narrow, camouflaged staircase located beyond the swarms of Avalonians-- or fans of one of the big concerts playing there almost every day of the week – leads to a dim and swanky upstairs space decorated in the colonial style of Moroccan-palace-meets-a-British-orientalist. Art Deco paintings of nude nymphs are joined with Byzantine-style arched “windows” and cozy leather banquettes covered with Moroccan pillows.
