The Conga Room- This famous establishment is owned by superstars Jimmy Smits, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, and Sheila E. It's known for its dazzling architecture, blending elements of Barcelona, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Alex Garcia, Conga Room's Executive Chef, is also celebrated for putting Calle Ocho and Babalu on the map in New York City. Having swept onto the LA social scene in 1998, the Conga Room hosted record launches, movie debuts, award shows, and parties, including the 2001 Latin Grammy Award Presentation. Top Latin legends, such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, the Buena Vista Social Club, Shakira, Juanes, and Carlos Santana have all performed here. After closing its original doors, the Conga Room reopened in December 2008 as part of L.A. LIVE, the new downtown entertainment district. It’s still widely known today for its unforgettable live performances and mouthwatering Latin dishes.

Friday night

Last Friday night @ Conga Room was PACKED! Sooo many fun people just having a good time drinking and dancing! The live performances were great too! They had a female drummer and a Michael Jackson impersonator... Along with their 4 gogos of course ;)

This is an awsome place to be on saturday nights the atmosphere is electric and with the DJ and salsa band alternating all night it really has a lot to offer to a mixed crowd. Conga Room is one of the best salsa clubs in town, with famous salsa bands performing each weekend it is no wonder that its gotten such a following. Wheter its Angel Lebron, Son Mayor or Tabocco and Ron live on stage the clubs atmosphere is always on fire.

Enjoy DJ's playing the best in hip hop, trance regeaton, 80s and spanish rock as well as a live band playing Salsa, Merengue and Cumbias all night long. Club features Large Main Dance floor with DJ and a live band alternating all night long and a smaller trance and hip hop room in the back, three full bars, out door smoking patio and several VIP rooms and VIP areas.
