Plug Uglies - Pug Uglies takes its name from a gang of political activists in the late 1800s and is the true, iconic vision of a dive bar. Plug Uglies serves drinks and diverse beers in a fun atmosphere with walls coated in shoulder patches from different police precincts, fire houses and other local agencies true to the political/working class background of its name. Located at 257 3rd Ave, there's shuffleboard, a pool table and the classic aesthetic of the no-frills mom and pop operation.
