Other Place Meadville

It's funny because a lot of people don't even know the Other Place being known as the Other Place. Other than the name on the front of the building. It's nicknamed "Penny Bar" for obvious reasons as pennies have been plastered to everything.

It's been quite a few years since i have been there, but I always enjoyed myself. Pitcher of Yuengling was really cheap. The things that really do stand out here and which has given reason to why this is one of my favorite bars is how they made it really low-key. They have/had a bookshelf with lots of board games on it. My buddy and I used to meet up there and drink pitchers and play Scrabble without keeping score. They also have a free championship sized pool table and free ping-pong. There is also a quarter bar-sized pool table.

A few things to keep in mind... 1 is overuse of obscenities will get you 86'd. Also, putting your beer on the pool table can very easily get you 86'd. Just be nice really or take it outside.

I hear the pickled eggs are the best around. I'm not into that type of thing, so I stay away.
