Today’s leading mixologists are taking some of the top winter treats from childhood and giving them a sophisticated, provocative makeover. One of these happens to be the traditional creamy eggnog, which has been revamped, Latin-style.
You may give usual Coquitos a break, but you won’t want to miss out on eggnog this year because it’s spiked with Pisco Porton, the premium Peruvian Pisco that’s winning over social drinkers. Peruvian Eggnog Recipe
Ingredients
1 oz. Pisco Porton
½ Chai tea liqueur
¾ oz. Heavy cream
½ oz. Simple syrup
1 Whole egg
1 Cinnamon stick
1 Cherry
Preparation
Add the spirits, cream, egg, and simple syrup to an iced shaker. Shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a martini glass. Top with cinnamon and cherry.
