It’s officially October, but before we take out the Halloween cocktails, we’re going to kick back with a new drink that’s sinfully seductive and wonderfully decadent for crisp autumn nights. October is conveniently National Caramel Month and to commemorate the season, mixologist Mary Breclaw from Morton’s in Chicago has created a new tasty treat that’s certain to awaken sleepy taste buds. Her Caramel Ginger Crisp is a creamy, silky concoction featuring caramel-infused vodka, a touch of fresh ginger, as well as chocolate covered pretzels and chilled cream. While it may resemble a luscious, liquid dessert at first taste, the spices mellow out the drink's sweetness. The result is a drool-worthy, heavenly concoction that’s almost like savoring oozing, pure caramel straight out of the pot. Sip, sip, enjoy.
