The 12th Annual New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) is officially here, which means that it’s time to watch some of hottest flicks about our people before summer is over. The festival runs between August 15th-21st and will feature special programs at venues throughout New York City. Tickets are still available, so don’t wait another year to catch the fest.
NYILFF kicks off tonight with “Cinema Under the Stars,” a free outdoor screening, but trust us, the fiesta doesn’t end there. Star-studded rep carpet premieres take place nearly every night, leading up to “Awards Night” on Sunday, August 21st. In addition, filmmakers will participate in various panels, performances, interviews, and photo meet and greets.
Also, the following Hollywood stars are expected to attend several NYILFF events taking place throughout the week: Jennifer Esposito, Danny Glover, Tom Sizemore, Tony Plana, Fergus Riordan, Soledad O’Brien, Yareli Arizmendi, Celinés Toribio, Joaquim de Almeida, Jesse Garcia, Andres Dominguez, Michael Cardelle, Dominik Garcia-Lorido, Talia Rothenberg, and many more.
