One of our favorite summer holidays is here and we’re celebrating the best way possible: by whipping up a tantalizing, potent concoction that’s guaranteed to start a fiesta. July 10th is officially National Pina Colada Day. It’s difficult not to savor the creamy, velvety, tropical drink that’s perfect for soaking up the sun at la playa. Last year, we discovered the history of the Pina Colada, also known as “Strained Pineapple.” This weekend, we’re all about drinking one of our favorite signature cocktails with a new twist. This variation of the luscious pineapple and coconut recipe features amber rum, famous for being used in the creation of the very first Pina Colada. Amber rum gives this frozen delight notes of warm caramel and vanilla, enhancing the Pina Colada’s sweet and decadent flavor. Join us and celebrate National Pina Colada Day with our favorite island stable. Swimsuits are optional.
