April is officially Earth Month, so it only makes sense that we pay tribute to Mother Nature with a succulent drink that’s a little verde. While avocado isn’t the first ingredient you would think of adding in your cocktail, this creamy fruit from Latin American can give a wonderful thickness to nearly any drink. It's like sipping on a spiked milkshake! For an avocado-themed cocktail, we went to our good friend, world renowned mixologist Junior Merino, and he provided us his Aguacate y Mezcal. His latest creation is an interesting blend of sweet agave nectar, honey, refreshing Combier, and Mexico’s notorious mezcal for a powerful kick to your taste buds. In addition, Aguacate y Mezcal features AGWA De Bolivia, also known as “the world’s only coca-leaf based liqueur.” You can order Aguacate y Mezcal at Macondo in New York City or prepare it at home tonight. Either way, go green!
