We’re saddened to hear that Jose “Crunchy” Espinosa, co-founding member of Latin fusion band
Ozomatli, passed away. The artist, who joined the group in 1996, spent the last two years battling cancer.
Last month, fans and friends of Espinosa united for “Crunchyfest,” a fundraiser to help with his growing medical expenses.
RIP Crunchy.
