For us, we want to try the best cocktails throughout the entire year, rain or shine. In the first week of January, we’re reaching for a New Year Refresher, a thirst quenching elixir that’s loaded with rosehips, hibiscus, and lemon, all great sources of vitamin C. Not only is the New Year Refresher delicious, but its healthy ingredients will put you on the right track of being bikini ready for summer. Best of all, New Year Refresher features a wintry pear liqueur, which is perfect for staying warm and celebrating beyond the 31st. Let’s drink for success and more cocktails!
New Year Refresher Recipe
Ingredients
1 oz. Pear liqueur (We used Xante Pear Liqueur)
2 oz. Rosehip and hibiscus tea concentrate
.5 oz. Lemon juice
Splash of sparkling wine (We used Cremant d’ Alsace)
1 Red rose petal
Preparation
In a shaker over ice, add first three ingredients. Shake vigorously and then splash with sparkling wine. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a red rose petal.
