Extravagant After-After Party at the Latin Grammy Awards Show

by nocheLatina

Last Thursday, premier spirit brand Hennessy capped off another star-studded Latin Grammy Awards week with the only official invite-only after-after party with partners BMI and MUN2. Dominican merengue urbano singer Omega and R&B sensation Miguel celebrated their first Latin Grammy experience at the exclusive affair at the top of Mandalay Bay hotel. Omega gave an impromptu performance, all while Sensato took to the microphone with his hit single, “Watagapitusberry.”

Singer/songwriter Alex Cuba also stopped by to celebrate after he snagged the “Best New Artist” award. Other nominees at the party were Koko (“Best New Artist”), Banda De Turistas (“Best Rock Song/Best Alternative Music Album”), Perrozompopo (“Best Alternative Music Album”), and singer Jandy Ventura, who seemed emotional after the legendary Johnny Ventura performed as the closing award show act.

Frankie J, salsa trio N’Klabe, Bachata Heightz, Malverde, radio personality Laura Stylez, and Boy Wonder stopped by for a drink while the dance troupe The Jabbawockeez, who performed with Nelly Furtado at the awards, took to the dance floor. DJ Lobo and DJ Eddy One kept this amazing party popping all night long. We’re still recovering!
