The Mexican festivities aren’t over yet!
To Commemorate the Bicentennial of Mexican Independence and The Centennial of the Mexican Revolution, “Revealing Mexico Week” will honor the culture and people of Mexico with a weeklong series of special events held at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Hosted by Tishman Speyer, Bill Clinton, Salma Hayek Pinault, New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez and supported by the Embassy of Mexico and its Consulate General in New York, “Revealing Mexico Week” gives New Yorkers the chance to participate first-hand in this special weeklong commemoration.
“Revealing Mexico Week” will pay homage to the traditions and people of Mexico while highlighting the country’s unique contemporary culture. Events for the week include a gala kick-off reception, a special photography installation and artist book signing at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Store, a culinary tasting with one of Mexico’s top chefs, as well as free performances ranging from classical to modern Mexican music.
