Adios, cozy cocktails! This spring, Cuba’s tropical treat and one of the most popular drinks ever created is making a splash. No longer just a summery thirst quencher, the Mojito’s mix of freshly picked mint leaves and potent white rum makes it the perfect icy concoction to welcome spring's warmer evenings. Whether you’re at the opening of a rooftop fiesta or meeting with friends for an outdoors brunch date, this Havana import is sure to put a smile on your face, reminding you that beaches and bikinis are just a few weeks away. For this season, we found a new excuse to enjoy this fizzy elixir.
Last year, we introduced you to the Strawberry, Sake, and Bolivian Mojitos, but we're now shaking things up for the Acai Blueberry Mojito, which replaces traditional rum with fruit-infused vodka. Some may argue that this isn’t a real Mojito, but you can’t deny its refreshing blend of lime juice, mint, and club soda. Acai, a fruit that’s often described as tasting like wine and chocolate, gives the Acai Blueberry Mojito a touch of sweetness. Besides, could you really argue over sipping on a delightful cocktail that features a Latin aphrodisiac? Prepare an Acai Blueberry Mojito and get ready to start summer tonight by taking it all off.
