Are you feeling lucky? With a Spanish Trampoline on hand, it’s hard not to. A trip to Las Vegas could mean cashing in at casinos or being teased and pleased by dancers, but this time, we scored the jackpot in a different way: by discovering one of the sweetest concoctions the sizzling hot Caribbean has to offer. You’re not having a mirage-The Mirage casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip does exist and it features a major hot spot for nightlife owls. Rum lounge and outdoor patio Rhumbar first opened last year, but they’ve been tantalizing patrons since then with a cool, tropical treat. Among their unique drinks is the Spanish Trampoline, Winner of the 2005 Food Network Challenge that continues to wow even the most doubtful guests. The Spanish Trampoline highlights juicy, ripe tangerines that have been hand-muddled with freshly picked mint, pure cane sugar, tart limes, and a healthy dose of cachaca, Brazil’s official beverage. The Spanish Trampoline may seem tame in alcohol, but be warned; a few of these will have you jumping off the wall! Then again, what happens in Vegas is caused by one of the most mouthwatering drinks anyone would gladly sip on.
