Cocktail of the Week: Snap Frost Punch

Cocktail of the Week: Snap Frost Punch

If you’re hosting a get-together at home, you can never go wrong with punch, the ultimate social drink. Not only are they very easy to prepare, but they also save you time and money. And let’s face it, you wouldn’t want to go hunting for everyone’s favorite bottle of beer or liqueur, follow by hours of trying to master too-complicated recipes. Forget getting frustrated and instead, go for a punch that’ll please anyone’s taste buds. Even though we adore the Spiced Honey Punch from earlier this month, the Snap Frost Punch has quickly become a new favorite of ours, especially for the upcoming bikini season. Having only 130 calories per glass, it easily beats those too salty 400 calorie margaritas. With crisp apple juice and frozen cranberries soaking up rum made from Nicaragua’s sugar canes, this is one cool number that can be savored in a snap.

Snap Frost Punch Recipe

Ingredients
2 oz. Rum (We used Flor de Caña 7-year old Rum)
1 ½ oz. Fresh pressed apple juice
Handful of frozen cranberries
1 oz. Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Cinnamon stick
Club Soda

Preparation
Pour all ingredients in a chilled punch bowl and serve.
