The ball has dropped and 2010 is here-are the festivities really over? It’s a New Year, so rather than worry about resolutions, we’re going to elevate the occasion with light, fizzy champagne cocktails that are fruit-filled, velvety, and wonderfully tasty. Champagne cocktails are a must, especially when hosting post New Year’s Day brunch with loved ones. Not only are they easy to prepare, but sparkling wine adds a certain magic to any bland elixir, which is proven when you see your guests smiling even after starting work or school again. Mimosas can be served anytime of the year, but champagne is reserved for special moments, and there’s no better time than gathering your friends, pumping up the music, and starting January on a joyous note. If you’re already set for the steamy days of summer (and who isn’t?), you’ll prefer a Beach Cup, a refreshing blend of tart lime, zesty orange slices, juicy grapes, and champagne. Start the New Year on the right foot with a yummy champagne-infused cocktail, such as a Beach Cup, to spice up your night.
