If there’s one celebrity that got off on the wrong foot at the recent American Music Awards this week, it's definitely Jennifer Lopez.
On what was supposed to be her comeback performance to debut her new single “Louboutins,” the actress/singer took a major fall after attempting to jump down gracefully from a human pyramid. While Lopez swifty leaped to her feet and carried on with the show, she’s now nursing a minor back injury. This is a typical thing that happens to most professionals, right? Not if they lie about it…badly.
Afterwards, Lopez took to Ryan Seacrest’s KISS-FM radio show to comment on the highly talked about incident. First, she denied it, claiming “Did I trip a little bit? I don’t even remember.” Then, she came up with a poor excuse, explaining “I meant to do that. You should know me better than that. That was part of the choreography!”
