Juanes Becomes NPR's Influential Artist of the Decade

Colombian rocker Juanes has won nearly every award imaginable for his many hits, but this is one honor that he should definitely be proud of.

National Public Radio released their list of the 50 most important recordings of the decade and Juanes’ Fijate Bien made the cut.

According to NPR:

Juanes’ social activism and sold-out tours make him one of the most influential artists of the decade. The Colombian vocalist and songwriter kicked off the ’00s with the tremendous 2000 album Fijate Bien, then won the Best New Artist Latin Grammy and spent the rest of the decade living up to the honor. Ever since, he’s sold millions while making intelligent, thought-provoking music.

Is there anything that Juanes can’t do? Don’t worry, we’re not in a hurry to find out.
