Jennifer Lopez is known for debuting some of the hottest videos around, but there is one in particular that she doesn’t want anyone to see.
The actress/singer, like most celebrities in Tinseltown, is currently involved in a sex tape scandal, all thanks to ex-husband Ojani Noa who now wants to cash in on their steamy footage from their 1997 honeymoon.
Lopez filed a $10 million lawsuit against Noa, claiming that he breached a confidentiality agreement. For now a Los Angeles judge ordered Noa to stash away the tape. However, Noa hasn’t revealed whether he’ll ultimately release the hot footage for cash anyway.
So what does this tape have that’s making the Puerto Rican bombshell all hot and bothered? According to the National Enquirier, the video has 11 hours of footage showing Lopez posing in lingerie, being spanked in bed by her former hubby, hopping on a motorcycle with no underwear, and having a nasty fight with her mother.
Noa’s honeymoon video sounds pretty tame by today’s Paris Hilton standards, so why all the controversy? According to film producer Ed Meyer, he believes the footage will tarnish Lopez’s reputation among her fans and even cause a major riff with current husband, salsero Marc Anthony. However, there seems to be one major flaw that Lopez seems to be overlooking.
“He shot them with his camera, so he owns the copyright. She can’t stop him,” explains Meyer.
Lawyers for Lopez and Noa are set to appear in front of LA County Superior Court Judge James Chalfant today, when he’ll decide the fate of the hot video.
