Now here’s some juicy gossip that will surely inspire you.

As the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards comes closer, we’re quickly finding out which of our favorite musical celebrities were nominated, as well as the many performers scheduled to hit the stage. However, we just discovered some very special news involving one of the top Puerto Rican salseros in the Latin music industry.

Victor Manuelle was recently named the Heineken Green Ribbon Ambassador for the Latin Grammys! For those who’re not familiar with the Heineken Green Ribbon program, ir provides funding to music education programs and emerging artists in communities across the country. Originally launched in 2004, the Heineken Green Ribbon program has donated at leas $70,000 to numerous Hispanic music organizations, including The Celia Cruz Foundation and the National Association of Latino Arts & Culture (NALAC).

Congrats to Manuelle! Let’s hope he’ll celebrate by giving us a grand performance at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas.
