One “Heroes” star is feeling pretty breezy and beautiful lately.

Dominican actress Dania Ramirez was recently selected by cosmetics line CoverGirl as their latest “fresh face” to represent the brand. Fortunately, being CoverGirl’s newest celebrity spokesperson means more than just earning a bigger paycheck for this rising star.

“Being a CoverGirl is about recognizing internal and external beauty, regardless of age and background,” Ramirez explains. “As a role model, I hope to inspire women to be more confident enough to achieve everything they want to achieve.”

Ramirez also told People Magazine that she’s using her new project as a way to encourage other Latinos to tell their stories of perseverance.

“I’m bringing my story, a story of struggle and hard work,” she states. “Not speaking the language (when I got to America) and trying to figure out my definition of beauty, you learn to recognize the beauty in all of us. It takes a strong person to get where I’ve got. If I could walk around telling people how great it is, I would.”

Now that Ramirez is representing CoverGirl, will you be stocking up on makeup from the line?
