It seems like owning a piece of the Miami Dolphins is becoming a major trend among Latino celebrities.
Last month, power couple Gloria and Emilio Estefan announced that they officially became minority owners of their favorite football team. Then, a news conference was announced last week that salsero Marc Anthony was scheduled to make a “major corporate announcement” that also involved the Miami Dolphins. Many already assumed that he too would also join the bandwagon and sure enough, he has!
Today, the team announced that Anthony will also join the Estefans as a minority owner. In addition, he'll perform the national anthem on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” scheduled for October 12, as part of the NFL’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
At least his wife Jennifer Lopez isn’t the only one making headlines!
