While some celebs, such as Salma Hayek and Gisele Bundchen, are busy getting married and having babies, others aren’t as lucky in the love department.
Longtime sweethearts Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo have officially called it quits. What makes this not-so-surprising breakup painful to hear about is the fact that Romo reportedly ended their relationship on the night before her 29th birthday. Ouch!
“She is heartbroken,” says a friend of Simpson. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show. They decided to part ways.”
Wait…Simpson is going to star in another reality show? Sounds like trouble.
Romo was later seen at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse this past weekend with about 14 friends. Not only was the birthday girl nowhere in sight, but Romo celebrated his newfound life as a bachelor by hitting the dance floor with several girls.
Hey, the best way to mend a broken heart is to find someone new and Romo took that advice to heart.
Simpson had planned to throw a Barbie and Ken-themed party, which fell through.
