It seems that nearly every celebrity in Tinseltown has been affected by the baby bug. From actress Salma Hayek to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, many starlets are suddenly ready to put their fabulous careers on hold for a chance to become a mother. Apparently, even Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz also wants a piece of the mommy pie.
"I have a tendency to become a mother to everyone around me,” says Cruz. “My brother and sister are always complaining that I'm too protective."
Boyfriend Javier Bardem better be careful because his equally famous beau is ready to have kids…and she doesn’t even need to say “I Do” to jumpstart the family bandwagon!
"I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life," she explains. "I don't know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children."
Truthfully, we don’t care whether Cruz gets hitched or not (OK, maybe we're lying). Regardless, she’s bound to have some beautiful children, especially if the father happens to be Bardem!
