Aventura’s 'The Last' Reaches Latin Music’s Highest Chart Debut

The world’s most popular bachata boy-band has officially taken over the Latin music industry.

Aventura’s new album The Last debuted #1 on the “Top Latin Albums” chart and landed at #5 on Billboard’s 200, heating up the competition between the Black Eyed Peas, Dave Matthews Band, and Eminem.  Billboard is already stating that their showing at #5 is the highest of any Latin artist since September 2006. That’s quite of an accomplishment!

The group’s first single “Por Un Segundo” from The Last has already topped Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart with the #1 spot. Their second single “All Up To You,” which features Akon and Wisin y Yandel, is also garnering popularity among listeners.

Do you think Aventura has what it takes to continue ruling airwaves?
