Movie buffs, prepare to get out the tequila because the Hola Mexico Film Festival will officially begin its first American national tour on June 9th.
The festival, which is taking place for its second year in NYC and for the first time in Los Angeles and Chicago, is already hailed as the biggest Mexican film festival outside of Mexico! With Latin films like Sin Nombre and Rudo y Cursi impacting the industry, this is the perfect time for our people to be part of history and watch some entertaining stories come to life on the silver screen. This year, the Hola Mexico Film Festival will debut 14 films, including box office hits Arrancame La Vida and Otra Pelicula De Huevos y Una Gallina. Audiences can also expect documentaries (Ladrones Viejos), award-winning features (Lake Tahoe and Voy a Explotar), and comedies (Conozca La Cabeza De Juan Perez).
In addition to watching some of the top Latin films to date, attendees can also party with Mexican Institute of Sound’s DJ Set, as well as savor mouthwatering food and drinks. Now that’s a fiesta we’re definitely not missing this summer!
