Remember when we first told you that pop songstress Christina Aguilera was in talks to star in a burlesque-themed film? Well, we were also one of the first to let you know that the Dirrty girl confirmed to star in Burlesque. Now, we’re hearing word that Cher (who won an Oscar for the 1987 hit movie Moonstruck) may co-star with Aguilera!
For those who are huge fans of Cher (we know you're out there reading this!), the role may not be a supporting one, which some may see as a slap in the face for the veteran performer. Then again, who would you rather see doing a sexy strip number on stage?
We’ll crossing our fingers that burlesque icon Dita Von Teese can become part of Aguilera's latest project. There’s no one else would could possibly fit the bill!
