Singer Colby O’ Donis recently earned an American Latino TV Awards nomination for “Favorite American Latino Newcomer.” With Colby wowing even electro-pop diva Lady Gaga, we weren’t surprised.
The 20-year-old began his guitar training under Johan Oiested, a notable player in Carlos Santana’s rhythm section. By age 12 he was already producing his own music and today, he plays his own instruments.
Colby is currently signed by Akon, one of the most influential artists in today's music scene. The “What You Got” performer is preparing to release his next single “She Wanna Go” featuring Paul Wall.
The winner for “Favorite American Latino Newcomer” is determined by online votes through AmericanLatinoAwards.com. The deadline is this upcoming Friday, May 15 so show Colby some love now!
