The “Dirrty” girl will make her screen debut in Burlesque. Christina will play a smalltown girl with a big voice who finds love and happiness in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club that’s inspired by Bob Fosse’s Cabaret. She's already scheduled to begin shooting this year and yes, the movie is a musical!
While the Grammy-winning singer has sold more than 25 million albums, she has never starred in a film.
We can’t wait to see Christina’s Hollywood debut. Let’s cross our fingers that performer Dita Von Teese, who is also working on a burlesque-themed film, will somehow be involved.
