J Lo. recently signed on for the leading role in the new romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan, where she’ll star as Zoe, a single woman who turns to artificial insemination for the chance to have a family. However, her plans take a dramatic turn when Mr. Right (Alex McLoughlin) shows up at the same time as her positive pregnancy test. Zoe must then learn how to have both her dream man and baby!
Director Alan Poul from the hit television series "Six Feet Under" has signed on to direct the film, which will premiere in January 2010.
It’s too soon to tell whether The Back-Up Plan will become a successful movie at the box-office, but at least Jennifer is going back to work!
