Actress Salma Hayek, who’s considered as one of Hollywood’s most gorgeous stars, is finally going to show the world how to look just as good without breaking the bank. The Mexicana recently announced to the press that she plans on sharing her beauty secrets with a signature cosmetics collection that will keep the average woman’s budget in mind.
“I’m trying to develop a line with a drugstore so that it is affordable for everyone,” she reveals. “We’ve researched for two to three years. My grandmother was a cosmetologist and she used to make her own creams, but my whole approach is how we can get the essence of the really expensive ones, but for everyone to be able to afford.”
However, the details of the line are still under wraps. She stops herself, later stating, “I shouldn’t be talking about this!”
Although we’re weary of any celebrity-endorsed product, we’re also excited to hear that Salma is aware of the current recession and trying to boost the confidences of women with affordable makeup. She just got married to billionaire Francois-Henrie Pinault, so we’re amazed that she even has time to work on new projects.
