Looks like Woody Allen can’t get enough of adding some much-needed Latin flavor to his films.
After releasing the hit film Vicky Cristina Barcelona starring Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz and real-life novio Javier Bardem, Woody is ready to work on another project with a fellow famous Spaniard. It was recently announced to the media that the Oscar-winning writer-director has just hired 48-year-old actor Antonio Banderas for his untitled movie. Antonio, who will be working with Woody for the first time, is also joining actors Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Freida Pinto, and Naomi Watts.
Woody’s new movie is scheduled to start shooting in London this summer.
Aside from doing the voice of Puss ‘N Boots in the Shrek film series, Antonio hasn’t been doing much to wow fans in Hollywood. However, almost everything that Woody does turns into blockbuster gold, so we have no doubt that Antonio will successfully remind viewers how talented he is. We’re also hoping that Freida can show off her Slumdog Millionaire moves again!
