Penelope Cruz Wins Oscar for "Best Supporting Actress"

On Sunday, February 22, actress Penelope Cruz made history by being the first Spaniard to win an Oscar for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Penelope, who stunned the world with her 60-year-old white vintage Pierre Balmain gown, was accompanied by her mother for her special day.  However, what made the evening more memorable was Penelope’s heartfelt acceptance speech that made all Latinos around the world proud.
