Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson walked down wearing millions of dollars worth of one-of-a-kind creations as she wedded actor Josh Duhamel this past weekend in Southern California.
So, did Fergie Ferg choose Tiffany, Cartier, or Winston for her special day? None! Instead, she chose Brazilian jeweler H. Stern to create her engagement ring, wedding band, and accessories for the entire wedding party.
A long-time fan of H.Stern, Fergie and the jeweler’s creative team worked together to design an ultra-hip, extra-wide Stars engagement ring featuring a round 4 carat diamond set amongst the band’s many other jewels with colors ranging from white to cognac. A narrow colored diamond wedding band was designed to match and be worn together. Both are made of H.Stern’s trademarked 18K noble gold, an exclusive alloy in an antiqued flesh tone. The groom’s wedding band was inspired by H.Stern’s Code Collection, and custom-made in 18K white gold. Each band is engraved with special personal messages by the bride and groom.
The bride chose to wear more than $6 million worth of H. Stern jewelry, including the Ropes Diamond Necklace worn in her hair as a veil, and Hera diamond earrings also worn as hair pieces. In addition, Fergie selected the Venus necklace, a lariat design featuring over 80 carats of diamonds on assorted shapes, Zephyr diamond studs, and the Lizard Diamond cuff bracelet, one of Fergie’s all-time favorite designs because of its special meaning. The lizard is the Native American symbol of wisdom. All are set in 18K noble gold.
The groom also exuded style and sophistication, selecting a pair of 18K white gold cufflinks invisibly set with white and black diamonds from H.Stern’s men’s line. Lastly, each of the seven bridesmaids in the wedding party received a pair of Zephyr diamond hair clips as gifts from the bride and groom. They are priced at $3,000 each.
For the wedding reception, Fergie made a wardrobe and accessories change. Her new H.Stern styles include the dazzling Artemis earrings from the 2009 Red Carpet Collection, a confetti white gold diamond necklace more than 3' long, as well as bracelets from the Stern Star Collection, featuring H.Stern's five-point star diamond cut.
Aside from the major bling present at Fergie’s wedding, her dress was reportedly designed by none other than Dolce & Gabbana. Guests at the special event included Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Kate Hudson, Shia LaBeouf, and Megan Fox.
